“Little Boxes: the Legacy of Henry Doelger”

Did you know there is a documentary film about the “Little Boxes”? Two weeks ago, I attended a free screening of the 45 minute documentary celebrating the life and works of Bay Area real estate development icon Henry Doelger. Mr. Doelger was a pioneer of Mid-Century Modern design, and this film shows the concept of Westlake and how it was built from nothing. Having grown up in a Doelger home, I found this film fascinating. There is one more upcoming free showing of this documentary on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gellert Library in the Community Room. I encourage you to attend. You will be pleasantly entertained!
