The Santa Clara Police Department and other law enforcement agencies are taking part in this national campaign coordinated by the U.S. Department of Transportation. This campaign is aimed to encourage drivers to remain alert while on the roadways. Remember - " U Drive. U Text. U Pay." The Department is committed to educating the community about the risks and hazards of taking one’s eyes off the road while driving. We can only accomplish this by awareness and partnering with our community. The Police Department’s Traffic Unit will deploy officers targeting distracted drivers - Drive safe!
