March 24th

Warrant Arrest- Van Fleet Ave. at San Joaquin St.
At 1053 hours, an officer arrested a 23 year-old El Cerrito man on an outstanding warrant. The man was booked at the ECPD and then released with a citation.

Robbery- BART Path at Wall Ave.
On 03/24, a victim came to the ECPD to report he was robbed by two subjects at gunpoint on 03/22 at 0930 hours, while walking along the BART path. The victim turned over cash and the suspects fled the scene.

March 25th

Warrant Arrest- San Pablo Ave. at Bayview Ave.
At 1434 hours, officers arrested a 32 year-old Richmond man on an outstanding warrant during a traffic enforcement stop. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Petty Theft- 11450 San Pablo Ave., Safeway
At 1434 hours, Safeway security arrested a 32 year-old man from Hercules for stealing chicken nuggets, alcohol and socks from the store. The man was booked at the ECPD and then released with a citation.

March 26th

Mental health evaluation – Betty Ln.
At approximately 0049 hours, a 79-year-old El Cerrito man was referred for a psychiatric evaluation after he attempted to take his life. The man was transported to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.

March 27th

Fighting on Campus- 540 Ashbury Ave., El Cerrito High
At 0802 hours, a School Resource Officer detained 4 teenage students after they engaged in a fight on campus. The students were transported to the ECPD, booked and then released to their guardians.
