#GTPD Community Advisory: Is Your Medicine Cabinet Due For a Spring Cleaning?

The effort to stop the abuse and diversion of prescription drugs begins at home - and must include the opportunity for Gloucester Township residents to dispose of their unused medications safely and securely at any time throughout the year.  The Gloucester Township Police Department wants to remind everyone to "clean out" your unused medications from your medicine cabinet and safely dispose them in one of our drug boxes.

Residents from Gloucester Township can visit our drug boxes seven days a week, to drop off unneeded and expired medications - and keep them away from those at risk of abusing them.  That box is located by the Police Department's Watch Desk Area.  The second box is located on the municipal side of the building by the operator entrance.

The drop boxes accept solid pharmaceuticals such as pills, capsules, patches, inhalers, and pet medications. They cannot accept syringes or liquids.
