Narrative:
Detectives arrested a Los Angeles resident for child molestation after investigating allegations that he sexually assaulted a seven-year-old victim in Camarillo in November 2013.

Luis Gonzalez, 62, of Atwater Village, was arrested at his home Thursday morning. Detectives have identified two additional victims in Los Angeles County who were sexually assaulted by Gonzalez during incidents dating back as far as 1998.

Gonzalez has been employed by the County of Los Angeles as a welfare eligibility case worker for the past nine years. His position involves dealing with families in difficult circumstances and gives him access to children.

Sheriff’s investigators are concerned there may be other victims in Los Angeles County. Detectives are encouraging anyone with information about Gonzalez’ activities to call (805)383-8791.

Gonzalez was booked at the East County Jail and is being held in lieu of $1.1 million bail.
