Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Location: 2885 Lakeside Drive
An armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon occurred outside Taste nightclub located at 2885 Lakeside Drive. Victim #1 and victim #2 were walking through the Embassy Suites parking lot when they were approached by the unknown suspect(s). The suspect(s) punched Victim #2 in the face, rendering him unconscious and victim #1 suffered a gunshot wound to the lower left abdomen. Victim #1 was transported to a local hospital and was in critical condition. Victim #2 later realized he had been robbed of his cell phone during the incident. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Grand Theft
Location: 3900 Block of Rivermark Plaza
Between 1800 hours and 2033 hours, an unknown suspect(s) broke the rear hatch window on the victim's vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot on the 3900 block of Rivermark Plaza. The suspect removed multiple duffel bags from the rear trunk area. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Location: 2600 Block of Great America Way
Between 1300 and 2030 hours, a vehicle burglary occurred in a parking lot on the 2600 block of Great America Way. The suspect(s) smashed the rear driver's side window and took the victim's duffle bag. The suspect(s) were not located.

Theft
Location: 4200 Great America Parkway
Between 1500 and 2200 hours, an unknown suspect(s) broke into three separate vehicles parked at IHOP restaurant at 4200 Great America Parkway. In all three cases, the suspect(s) broke a window and stole a backpack and/or shopping bag. The suspect(s) were not found.

Location: 3041 Stevens Creek Boulevard
An officer was dispatched to the Valley Fair Mall parking structure (near Cheesecake Factory). Three rental vehicles were broken into and a significant volume of property was stolen. The suspect(s) were not located.

Robbery
Location: 475 El Camino Real
An officer was dispatched to a robbery that occurred in the parking lot near Candlewood Suites at 475 El Camino Real. According to the victim, he was approached by two male Hispanic adults after leaving work from the San Jose Earthquakes game. One suspect reached into his jacket, mentioned he had a gun and demanded the victim empty his pockets. After providing his wallet, the suspects fled the scene and remain at large.

Drug Possession
Location: 3550 El Camino Real
An officer drove through the Bella Vista Inn parking lot. The officer detained two male motel guests about a possible vehicle registration violation. A Records check revealed suspect #1 was on probation with a search and seizure clause and suspect #2 was also on searchable probation. A subsequent room search uncovered a third male suspect, drugs, drug paraphernalia and a replica firearm. All three individuals were arrested and transported to the County jail.

Drug Use
Location: 400 Block of Nelo Street
An officer responded to a trespassing / disturbance call on the 400 block of Nelo Street. A Records check revealed the suspect had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and a suspended license. The suspect also displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of the suspect’s vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and transported to the County jail. His vehicle was impounded.

Robbery
Location: 3565 Benton Street
An officer was dispatched to an armed robbery at 7-11 at 3564 Benton Street. The black male adult suspect walked directly behind the cash register and demanded money. The suspect took approximately $100 in cash and a package of cigarettes before fleeing the scene. The suspect was not found.

Hit and Run
Location: Scott Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue
Dispatch received multiple calls on a hit and run collision involving property damage. Witnesses were able to point out a male suspect, walking away from a Mercedes Benz, that had crashed into a residential property. It was later determined the vehicle was an unreported stolen vehicle from Stevens Creek Mercedes. The suspect lost control of the car at a high rate of speed and sheered a city light pole. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later transported to the County jail.
