Major construction project in Old Pasadena expected to cause traffic delays for the next two months. 
The City of Pasadena has contracted with Excel Paving Company for infrastructure improvements on Green St. from Delacey Ave. to Fair Oaks Ave. and on Fair Oaks Ave. from Union St. to Green St. The work includes replacing the existing 10-inch sewer pipe with a new 12-inch pipe on Green St.; reconstruction of intersection curb ramps and retrofitting existing curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces; installation of colored stamped asphalt crosswalks, pavement resurfacing and installation of traffic striping and markings.
The construction is to begin on March 17 and scheduled to be completed on May 15 this year. Please try to avoid the area when possible.
