Warrant Arrest Location: 4700 Block of Lick Mill Boulevard
While driving south on Lick Mill Boulevard an officer observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officer contacted the male driver. A Records check revealed the driver had a warrant for a suspended or revoked driver’s license and no proof of insurance. The subject was issued a notice to appear in court and was released at the scene.

Burglary Location: 5100 Block of Old Ironsides Drive
An unknown male suspect made entry and ransacked a commercial business on the 5100 block of Old Ironsides Drive. The suspect was interrupted by a security guard and fled the scene prior to police arrival. The suspect remains at large.

Vandalism Location: 435 Saratoga Avenue
An officer responded to Westwood Elementary School at 435 Saratoga Avenue on the report of vandalism. Two windows had been broken in the cafeteria. The suspect(s) remain at large.

Resisting Arrest Location: 3550 El Camino Real
Officers responded to a loud party at the Bella Vista Motel at 3550 El Camino Real. Upon contact, the occupants agreed to quiet down and were allowed to remain in their room. At approximately 0358 hours, SCPD was dispatched again to the same location for a loud party. This time, the management requested assistance evicting the occupants of the room. The occupants were cooperative and departed as requested.

An occupant of a neighboring room came outside several times and yelled racially charged language at the departing group. The suspect continued to do so in the presence of police after being directed to return to his room. The suspect refused to return to his room and a struggle between he and officers ensued. During handcuffing, officers discovered an 8" butcher's knife hidden inside the right rear portion of the suspect’s pants. The suspect continued to challenge officers to fight after being handcuffed. He was transported to the County jail.

Robbery Location: 1600 Martin Avenue
Officers responded to a robbery at the Aquamaids Bingo Hall located 1600 Martin Avenue. A suspect, armed with a handgun, approached an employee and demanded money. The employee handed over money and the suspect then fled.

Officers responding to the call stopped two vehicles in connection with the robbery. Both vehicles contained evidence linking them to the robbery.

Meanwhile, Police Detectives were called in to assist with the investigation. The Detectives identified a fifth suspect who also took part in the robbery.

Follow-up …. On March 6, 2014 at about 7:20am, the Santa Clara Police Department Special Response Team served a search warrant at a residence in San Jose. The suspect was found inside the residence with a loaded handgun and was arrested without incident. Detectives continued their investigation and learned that the same suspects were also responsible for a previous robbery at Aquamaids on February 19, 2014 (Case Number 14-001914). In that robbery, a 78-year-old female was struck on her head with a handgun and robbed of her money. Detectives are also investigating the possibility that these suspects could be responsible for other robberies.

All suspects were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on robbery and conspiracy charges. Anyone with information, please call Sergeant Hoesing at (408) 615-4814.

Warrant Arrest Location: El Camino Real and Lincoln Street
An officer observed the female suspect jaywalking southbound across El Camino Real, just east of the Lincoln Street and conducted an enforcement stop. A Record's check revealed the suspect had a warrant for her arrest for $7,000 out of San Jose for petty theft. The suspect had two laptops in her possession which were booked into evidence for safe keeping. She was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Robbery Location: 3777 Lafayette Street
An officer responded to the report of a robbery at gun point which occurred at the 7-11 convenience store located at 3777 Lafayette Street. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.

Follow-up …. During briefing, officers watched a video of the robbery at the 7-11 store. While driving near the location of the robbery, an officer located the male robbery suspect on the 3600 block of Haig Street. The suspect was uncooperative during his arrest. A search yielded a handgun in the suspect’s garage. He was arrested and transported to the County jail.

Drunk in Public Location: 1200 Block of Chapel Drive

**Updated Information**
Two men were reported in the front and rear yards of the resident, at one point, the men were “shaking” and “knocking” on the door of the resident. The men were described in their 20s wearing a hooded jacket. Upon the Officers arrival, they were able to detain one of the men. He displayed objective signs of intoxication and could not care for his own safety. He was arrested. The Officers were unable to locate the other man.

Drug Sales Location: 2140 El Camino Real
An Officer was conducting follow-up on an unrelated case when he noticed a vehicle parked in a handicap stall in the Walgreen’s parking lot at 2140 El Camino Real. The vehicle did not have the appropriate placard or license plate. The officer contacted the driver in the front seat of the vehicle. He displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle yielded drugs and drug paraphernalia consistent with that of a street level narcotics dealer. A search of the suspect’s phone produced several text messages related to narcotics sales. The suspect was arrested for sales of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and committing a felony while out on bail. He was transported to the County jail.
