Copper pipe/valve theft is on the rise along Nordhoff St between Corbin Ave and De Soto Ave during the early morning hours. The theft occurs at businesses after they are closed. Most pipes are located behind their business and are not discovered damaged until an employee attempts to turn on water from faucets. The pipes and valves are costly to replace. Helpful Tips: Install motion lights near pipes & property, install security cameras & secure valves with a locked cage or heavy duty chain & lock.
