THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD IS HOSTING THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON MARCH 13th. COME AND JOIN US.

The City of Rosemead’s Community Area Watch program is in full swing with our second meeting scheduled on Thursday, March 13th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Encinita School, 4515 N. Encinita Avenue.

To best serve residents, the city has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The March 13th meeting serves Area 2 (residents living in neighborhoods bound by Rosemead Boulevard, Temple City Boulevard, Valley Boulevard, and the Union Pacific Rail Road). The purpose of the Community Area meeting is to:
• Educate the community;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming a victim to a vehicle or home burglary;
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.

Dinner and raffles will be provided for participants. The City of Rosemead Public Safety Department strives to make Rosemead a safer place to live. You can help! For more information, contact Public Safety Coordinator Mandy Wong at (626) 569-2168 or mwong@cityofrosemead.org.
