The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Senior Services to present information to the community on current scams happening here in McHenry County. The presentation will be Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
Scams that target our community are always changing. This quarterly educational series will provide information on seasonal scams and information on the current trends observed in the last three months. Tips will be given on what to watch out for, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you become a victim.
This presentation is designed for all McHenry County residents. Seniors and caregivers to a senior are especially encouraged to participate as seniors are often the targeted victims.
