Advisory: Winter Weather Statement: State of Emergency - Borough Hall Closed - Snow Plowing continues 
As a result of the winter weather and State of Emergency, South Toms River Borough Hall will be closed on Monday, March 3, 2014.
STR residents are advised to keep vehicles off the street to allow for snow plowing.
Please DO NOT call Police with snow related requests or questions. Only call the police when there is a fire, medical or police emergency.
Presently, there is snow falling and all roads are snow covered and icy, but passable. Strong winds are quickly blowing snow back onto recently plowed roads and streets. Snow operations will continue through the day so please be patient as snow plowing equipment will eventually reach all streets in the Borough.
Finally, Borough officials are strongly urging residents to stay off the roads this morning so that snow plowing crews can effectively and safely perform their job.
