Modesto, CA – The Modesto Police Department plans to deploy its Armadillo vehicle in areas plagued with crime.
The Armadillo is a surveillance vehicle equipped with cameras on all sides. The purpose of the vehicle is to be a deterrent in high crime areas. It will also be used to capture criminal activity, as well as help identify those involved in the crime.
