February 18th

Drunk –in- Public- 700 Block of Liberty St.
At 1406 hours, ECPD officers arrested a 45 year-old homeless man for being too intoxicated to care for himself. The man was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Missing Juvenile- 10900 San Pablo Ave., ECPD
At 0929 hours, a Richmond resident called the ECPD for help to locate their daughter who did not return home. Through the officer’s investigation it was discovered that the juvenile had returned to their parent’s place of business.

February 19th

Stolen Vehicle- 5600 Block of El Dorado Ave.
A citizen reports an unknown suspect stole their 1994 Honda Accord between 02/18 at 2200 hours and 02/19 at 0600 hours.

Stolen Vehicle, Evading Police – El Dorado St. / Yolo Ave.
At approxiatmely 0002 hours, an officer located a stolen Toyota Matrix occupied by two people. The officer attempted to pull the vehicle over but it fled onto the freeway then back into city streets where it eluded officers.

Warrant arrest – San Pablo Ave. / Schmidt Ln.
At approximately 0053 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian enforcement stop and arrested a 32-year-old Pittsburg man for three outstanding warrants. The man was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

February 20th

Auto Burglary- 800 Block of Craft Ave.
An unknown suspect shattered the window of a Toyota sedan and stole miscellaneous items. The theft occurred on 02/20 between 0001 hours and 0830 hours.

Mental health evaluation – 10200 block of San Pablo Ave.
At approxiatmely 2049 hours, officers were dispatched to a naked man in front of his residence. Officers contacted the man and found him to be suffering from a mental break. The man was transported to the Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
