On 2-21-14 at approximately 5:42 PM, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the West America Bank at 13751 Arnold Dr in Glen Ellen for a report of a robbery that just occurred. A description of the suspect was given and the surrounding area was immediately searched by several deputies with negative results.
Bank employees reported to deputies that the suspect entered the bank and demanded money at gunpoint. The suspect then took the money, placed it in a blue backpack, and fled on foot northbound Arnold Dr.
Deputies retrieved and reviewed the surveillance video from the West America Bank and secured digital photographs of the suspect inside during this incident. The suspect is a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, mid to late 20`s, with redish or blonde hair. The suspect was wearing a light blue long sleeve pullover sweatshirt, khaki colored cargo pants, and dark tennis shoes with white soles. The suspect also was wearing black sunglasses and a, black on the outside - red or orange on the inside, ski mask on his head.
