Beware of persons calling from a phone number beginning in 844-653-XXXX. Individuals calling from this number have contacted numerous victims claiming to be Federal Fugitive or Bail Agents. They are extremely forceful on the phone, and claim you are hiding individuals wanted for warrants.
This is an elaborate scam in an attempt for you to send money. Do not send them money!
If contacted by these individuals, report the incident to your personal phone carrier.
