Deputies arrest parolee for possession of narcotics, burglary tools, stolen items, and a parole violation. #LASD
On February 6, 2014 at 3:45pm, 38 year old David Cook of Temple City was arrested by members of the Temple City Special Assignment Team. Deputies observed a driver commit several traffic violations in the area of Longden Ave and Muscatel Ave in the city of Temple City. A traffic stop was conducted to issue the driver a citation. The front passenger was identified as David Cook who is on parole for burglary with an active warrant for a parole violation. Deputies subsequently conducted a parole compliance search. During the search, several burglary tools and narcotics were recovered in Cook’s possessions. In addition, property that was previously reported stolen during a recent vehicle burglary was also recovered.
Cook was booked at Temple Station for possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics, possession of burglary tools, and a parole violation. He was being held without bail.
