News media invited this afternoon to perfectly attend as HCSO and CITGO donate Kindle Fire tablets to Spring ISD students

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and CITGO Petroleum Corporation continue to reward area students with perfect attendance with Kindle Fire tablets as part of the collaborative program “Kindling Young Minds”.

Northbrook High School is the next stop this afternoon at 2:15.

"Students who show up and then learn -- through tablet devices or the old-fashioned ways -- are more likely to end up being law-abiding citizens," Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said. "Education leads to public safety."
