On 01/31/2014 at approximately 14:40 hours, Officers were dispatched to Brookshires Grocery store located at 105 Ovilla Rd (FM664) Red Oak, Ellis County TX in reference to a stolen vehicle report. Officers Meeks made contact with the complainant who stated he and his wife drove their 2006 Gray Chevrolet 1500 pick-up to Brookshires. They parked the truck at the far Northwest corner of the store. Complainant entered the store at 14:18 hours to shop and when they returned at approx 14:30 hours the vehicle was missing.
No broken glass was around where the vehicle was parked. The vehicle is described as a 2006 Gray Chevy Silverado 2wd 1500 4Dr TX LP-AN63218. It has a white with black lettered sticker on the back left (drivers side) glass with USS WESSON DE184, a white with red lettered sticker on the back right (passenger side) glass with NATIVE TEXAN. The vehicle has a black bed cover which is visible from the sides and back of the vehicle as well as black 6" mud flaps on all four wheel wells with Chevrolet on them in white letters. Vehicle has been entered TCIC/NCIC TIC# TV1947970024, NIC# V986540734. Video surveillance shows a white or Hispanic male suspect approx 5'00"-5"05" 120-145 lbs wearing gray shorts and a black Hoodie (jacket) with a Harley Davidson emblem on the front and back of the jacket. The suspect was also wearing gray tennis shoes with neon green soles. The suspect vehicle is described as a gray in color Chevrolet pickup early to mid 2000’s model.
