There is a chance of freezing rain and snow overnight tonight and into Saturday. DPW crews will be out plowing and salting, as per usual. Citizens are asked to help the efficiency of these operations by moving cars off of side streets and parking in driveways as much as possible. Downtown will be cleaned up starting late Monday night and into early Tuesday morning. Again, those in the Downtown area on Monday night are asked to remove their cars from the streets and use the lots to allow this operation to be conducted efficiently. We were initially going to try for a Downtown clean up this week, however the extreme low temperatures and possibility of additional snow fall over the weekend caused us to re-schedule.
