On January 26, 2014, a 9:34 am, Medics responded to a report of an unconscious 65 year old man at a residence in the 2400 block of E. Sixth Street. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. Officers were notified because the victim had a serious head injury. The investigation indicates the suspect was involved in some type of a physical altercation with his uncle, the 65 year old victim. Today, January 29, 2014, the victim, Harry Grigsby, has died from his injuries.

The suspect, Richmond Johnson, a 41 year old man, is wanted for suspicion of homicide.

The Stockton Police Department is encouraging citizens to call if they have information pertaining to this investigation. Callers are asked to call the Stockton Police Department at (209) 937-8377, the Investigations Unit at (209) 937-8323, or Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Callers can remain anonymous.
