HDPS Fire Services has an important message for residents:

Holland Public Safety Fire Services is asking residents to monitor and clear fire hydrants of snow.

With the extreme amount of snow recently and the potential for more in the coming week, we need citizens to help with this very important issue.

With already accumulated snow, and no warming weather in sight, HDPS Fire Services personnel would like to request that residents and businesses do their best to adopt any fire hydrants that are on or adjacent to their property and keep them clear from snow.

Doing this keeps hydrants accessible for fire fighters during emergencies.

For additional information, contact Fire Operations Captain Chris Tinney at 616-355-1023.
