SANTA ANA, CA (January 22, 2014) - At last night's city council meeting, the Mayor and City Council approved a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the outstanding suspects in the violent assault at The Crosby on Saturday morning. This action matches Downtown Inc.'s $5,000 reward, bringing the total to $10,000. Chief Carlos Rojas also outlined his plan to ensure that visitors continue to feel safe as they enjoy the many entertainment options in Downtown Santa Ana. The Chief announced that effective today, the police department will utilize a variety of strategies to increase police presence in the Downtown district. The police department will also expand the use of technology throughout the area to increase awareness and to expand the Santa Ana Police Department's ability to patrol the area.
