Juvenile Escapees arrested in Windsor.

On 1/20/2014 at approximately 1:00 pm, deputies were dispatched to the Juvenile Probation camp on Eastside Road regarding the escape of three juveniles. A search of the area by responding deputies was met with negative results and the juveniles were not located.

At approximately 5:00 pm, Windsor deputies along with Sheriff’s Office deputies and Henry 1 were dispatched to the area of Windsor River Road and Starr Road regarding three juveniles in the area that matched the description of the three escapees from the probation camp earlier in the day. When the deputies and the helicopter arrived in the area where the juveniles were seen, the three immediately fled on foot, jumping fences in the residential area, through several residential back yards and into Kaiser Park. Two of the subjects ran through the high school and were eventually caught by deputies. The third subject was found hiding in a creek near Kaiser Park. All three subjects were taken into custody in about an hour after being spotted by the reporting party.

All three were booked into Sonoma County Juvenile hall for escape and fleeing from the deputies. The names will not be released due to the age of the suspects.
