Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from noon Tuesday to 6 am EST Wednesday.
•Location: Northeast New Jersey.
•Hazard types: Heavy snow.
•Accumulations: snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible.
•Winds: north 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
•Wind chills, from 10 below to 15 below zero late Tuesday night.
•Temperatures: 6 to 19 above.
•Visibilities: one quarter mile or less at times.
•Timing: snowfall will begin late Tuesday morning and will continue through Tuesday night, tapering off early Wednesday morning. The Heaviest snowfall will occur Tuesday afternoon and evening.
•Impacts: falling, blowing, and drifting snow will cause hazardous travel and walking conditions across the area. Possibly impacting the late afternoon and evening commute. Extreme Cold and low wind chills could cause Frost Bite. Dress Appropriately.
