The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Burglary and Theft Division has charged four men with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in connection to the robbing of an electronics store yesterday, January 15, 2014, in north Harris County.
HCSO Investigators say that Johnothan Fields (DOB 11/17/89), Jerome Harris (DOB 09/06/86), Marckel Burns (04/10/95) and Desmond Phillips (DOB 03/21/94) entered the business around 10 am armed with handguns. One suspect fired his handgun into the ceiling of the business. No employees were hurt from the weapon discharging.
They demanded money and phones from the display cases.
The suspects then fled from the business in a white van. The van was later recovered after it was left behind a business in the vicinity of the robbery.
HCSO Deputies responding to the scene were able to track one of the stolen devices to an apartment complex in the 5600 block of Yale Street.
Deputies were able to take into custody all four suspects.
