DNA: Suspect in 2012 Brutal Rape of Rowland Heights Woman Arrested by LA Sheriff's
A suspect is in custody for the sexual assault of a 29-year old woman in her home on October 27, 2012. The violent crime occurred on a Saturday at 6:00AM when the victim was awakened in her apartment on the 1500 block of Jellick Avenue in Rowland Heights by an unknown Hispanic man who brutally beat and raped her.
Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station deputies were notified and Special Victims Bureau investigators of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department immediately began an investigation. It included DNA analysis by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Crime Lab (Scientific Services Bureau).
Sheriff's Special Victims Bureau investigators received a break in the case due to recently entered suspect DNA resulting in a hit from the FBI Combined DNA Index (CODIS) System.
That information led sheriff's detectives to Suspect Pablo Reyes Bautista as a suspect in the case. After an extensive manhunt, Sheriff's Major Crimes Bureau detectives located and arrested Pablo Reyes Bautista in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles. Bautista had previously lived in the unincorporated community of Rowland Heights in the east San Gabriel Valley.
26-year old Suspect Bautista was booked at the Walnut Sheriff’s Station on the charges of Rape by Force (261(a)(2) CA Penal Code, Aggravated Mayhem, 205 P.C., and Burglary, 459 P.C. His arrest warrant bail is set at $1 million dollars and arraignment is set for Tuesday, January 14, 2014.

DNA: Sospechoso Arrestado Por El Departamento Del Alguacil por una Violacion Brutal en el Ano 2012 Sobre una Mujer de Rowland Heights
Un sospechoso esta arrestado por asaltar sexualmente a una mujer de 29 anos de edad en su casa el 27 de Octubre del ano 2012. El crimen violento occurio un Sabado a las 6 de la manana cuando la victim fue levantada en su apartamento por la avenida Jellick en la area de Rowland Heights por un hombre hispano desconocido, que la golpio brutalmente y la violo.
Aguaciles de La Estacion de Walnut y Diamond Bar fueron notificados y la Unidad de Victimas Especiales del Aguacil comencio una investigacion. La investigacion incluyo analysis de DNA por la Oficina de Laboratorios Criminales del Aguacil del Condado de Los Angeles.
Detectivos de la Unidad de Victimas Especiales del Aguacil recibieron noticias sobre el caso cuando fueron notificados sobre el analysis del DNA por el Departamento del FBI en su systema CODIS.
La informacion del DNA diriqio a los Detectivos del Aguacil a sospechar a Pablo Reyes Bautista como sospechoso en el caso. Despues de una busqueda extensiva, Detectivos de la Unidad de Delitos Graves / Equipo Fugitivo Regional del area, localizaron y detuvieron a Pablo Reyes Bautista en el area de Atwater Village en Los Angeles. Bautista tenia residencia en la comunidad de Rowland Heights en el Vale de San Gabriel anteriormente.
El sospechoso de 26 anos de edad fue procesado el la Estacion del Alguacil de Walnut por una orden de arresto sobre un cargo de violacion sexual del codigo penal del estado de California (261(a)(2) P.C.), agresion con la intencion de desfigurar (205 P.C.), y Robo de Domicilio (459 P.C.). El sospechoso permanece detenido en la carcel del Condado de Los Angeles con una fianza de $ 1,000,000.00.

Brutal Rapist Sought by LASD Detectives – Sat, 6am, 1500 blk Jellick Ave, Rowland Heights
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying a male adult suspect who brutally raped a 29 year old female adult in her apartment in the 1500 block of Jellick Avenue in the unincorporated area of Rowland Heights.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 6:00 AM. The victim was awakened by the suspect after he gained entry through an unlocked sliding glass door and then proceeded to assault and rape her. The victim sustained serious injuries from the physical assault.
The suspect is described as male Hispanic, 30-35 years of age.
