The Borough of Spotswood has had several residential burglaries and /or attempts over the past several weeks. The actor(s) have been using forced entry by prying a rear window to gain entry into the homes. The burglaries appear to have been in the daytime and late afternoon hours.
We are asking all residents to remain vigilant in safe guarding the Borough. When you observe anything out of the ordinary please immediately contact the Spotswood Police Department and report it. No one knows this Borough better than you. If you see any suspicious vehicles or individuals you do not recognize report it to the Police Department immediately so we can investigate.
To better safe guard your homes we encourage you to keep all windows and doors in your homes locked and secured. Electronic timers for interior lighting and motion sensor lighting on the exterior also provide additional security.
