(HOUSTON, TX) - HCSO investigators and Crime Stoppers need the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect responsible for a home invasion and sexual assault in Cypress earlier this week.

At around noon on January 7, 2014, the 23 year-old female victim was at her home near the 18000 block of Temple Hill Ln. when the suspect knocked on her front door.

When the victim did not open the door, the suspect forced his way into the home by kicking the front door open. He then tied the victim’s hands and ankles and demanded money and other items. The suspect physically and sexually assaulted the victim while the victim’s two small children were in another bedroom. The suspect stole several items from the residence and fled in a white, four-door Chevrolet Cobalt with tinted windows. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, possibly in his 20’s, 5’9” – 5’11” tall, dark complexion, thin build with muscles, and a military haircut. He was wearing a dark colored work type jumpsuit, dark colored jacket, work boots, and dark colored gloves. Attached is a composite sketch.
