Traffic Collision, Four Ejected, Rosecrans Ave/Lakewood Bl, Bellflower, #LASD Lakewood Station

On Saturday, January 4, 2014, at approximately 2:02 AM, deputies responded to a single car collision on Rosecrans Avenue at Lakewood Boulevard in Bellflower. The driver was traveling eastbound on Rosecrans Avenue at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle; he hit a curb and a wrought iron fence, causing the vehicle to flip into a tree.

Four of the five passengers were ejected. The driver and the four passengers, one in critical condition, were transported to local hospitals.

The investigation is ongoing.
