Winter Storm Warning In Effect 
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Hasbrouck Heights starting on 1/2/14 at 6pm and ending at approximately 1pm on 1/3/13. Snow accumulation of 4"-8" is expected and with wind gusts between 15-35 mph, Blizzard-like conditions are possible. Visibility during this time will be less than 1/4 of mile, causing dangerous driving conditions. Vehicles are encouraged to stay off the roadways during this time, so HH DPW can clear the streets. Overnight Parking on 1/3 will not be permitted/granted for this reason and vehicles parked between 2am-6am will receive a summons and subject to be removed from the roadway at owner's expense.
Temperatures on 1/2 and 1/3 are expected to be in the low teens and possibly below zero. Please be cognizant of icy conditions on the sidewalks and roadways during the freezing temperatures. Residents are encouraged to check on elderly or special needs neighbors during the Winter Storm.
In regards to snow removal, the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights requires all residents to remove all snow and ice from their sidewalks within 12 hours of daylight after snowfall has ceased. No resident is to throw or deposit snow in the street. Failure to comply with these ordinances will result in a summons.
