Welcome to the 2014 Rose Parade and Game. Attendees may establish their viewing areas and set up chairs along the parade route beginning at noon today. Couches, large chairs, and BBQs taller than 12 inches are not allowed. Viewing areas cannot be sectioned off by rope or other barriers and at least one person must remain with the items at all times. Unattended items will be removed by law enforcement personnel and disposed of.
Alcohol possession and/or consumptions on the boulevard is illegal and violations will be strongly enforced. It is also a violation to throw items of "ANY" type at pedestrians, vehicles or into the parade. There will be thousands of spectators visiting Pasadena over the next two days. Everyone is reminded to be patient, courteous to their fellow parade and/or game attendee, and respectful regarding float entries. Disruption to the parade's progression will not be tolerated. For 125 years, the Rose Parade has been a safe and enjoyable family event and will continue to be with your cooperation.
Residents and visitors to Pasadena are asked to be alert to their surroundings and reported suspicious activity to law enforcement or Tournament of Roses officials, or call 911 for emergencies and (626) 744-4241 for non-emergencies. Attendees are encouraged to register at "nixle.com" for timely public safety notifications related to parade or game activities. It only takes 5 minutes and recipients can receive the no cost alerts via text message, e-mail and/or by web.
