New Year's Weather outlook & Safety Tips

SOUTHWEST CALIFORNIA AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOS ANGELES/OXNARD CA
The National Weather Services advises
THE HIGH AND LIGHT OFFSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES TO SOUTHWESTERN
CALIFORNIA INTO FRIDAY. SLIGHTLY INCREASED OFFSHORE WINDS WILL BRING TEMPERATURES TO A PEAK ON THURSDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOLER OVER THE WEEKEND AS AN UPPER LOW APPROACHES.

Drinking and Driving
The holiday period historically sees a significant increase in driving related fatalities. If you plan on drinking give your keys to a designated driver before you start. Situational awareness is the key to recognizing hazardous situations for those who don’t plan and drive drunk during the holiday season. Enjoy the season and come home safe.
