On 12/24/2013 at approximately 6:30 am, deputies were dispatched to the Graton Casino parking lot in Rohnert Park regarding a subject who had been struck in the head and robbed.
The victim a 67 year old man was struck in the head by an unknown weapon and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash and property. The victim believed there were at least two suspects that participated in the robbery.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital with severe head trauma. The Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit was called out to the scene. The Sheriff's Detectives, along with the Graton Casino Security personnel are conducting further investigation into this case.
