Sun Prairie Police Department received information that a subject was manufacturing methamphetamine at 205 S. Bird Street in the City of Sun Prairie. Sun Prairie Police subsequently contacted the resident, Brandon J Fletcher 07/27/91, as he left the apartment building. Fletcher was found to be in possession of all necessary materials to manufacture methamphetamine. A search of his residence turned up more materials used in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine. Fletcher was transported to the Dane County Jail and charged with one count of Possessing Materials for Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Sun Prairie Police were assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigations and the Dane County Narcotics Task Force. All materials have been removed and the scene is safe. There is no danger to the surrounding residences or the community.


Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
