UPDATED INFORMATION

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male Hispanic adult on Sunday, December 8, 2013, in the 37800 block of 20th Street East, Palmdale.

Deputies received a call for service to check on the welfare of the resident at the above location. Upon arrival, deputies saw a broken window. They knocked on the door several times and did not get a response. They forced entry into the location and observed the victim who had suffered from blunt force trauma to his upper torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are seeking witnesses.
