Arrest made in Windsor Kidnap case. 
On 12/05/2013, at approximately 1630 Hrs, Sonoma County Violent Crimes Investigations Detectives located and arrested Alejandro Cruz-Valdovinos, 29 years old, a resident of Windsor, California for a variety of charges related to the attempt kidnap of a 53 year old female victim on 11/30/13 at the Quick Shop and Deli in the Town of Windsor.
Cruz-Valdovinos was located at his place of employment on Corby Ave in Santa Rosa and was arrested without incident. Cruz- Valdovinos was subsequently booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on the charges of Kidnap, Burglary, and Felony Battery. Cruz-Valdovinos is being held on a No Bail status awaiting arraignment.
Upon request of the victim we are not releasing her name at this time.
