Firefighters from the Harper Woods Fire Department and cross trained police officers from the Harper Woods Public Safety Department responded to a four alarm fire at a medical facility located in the 20800 block of Harper Ave today at 4:33 P.M. The building closed at 4:00 P.M. and was not occupied at the time of the fire. Public Safety Officers from all five of the Grosse Pointe agencies responded to assist in extinguishing the fire. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is not known at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harper Woods Public Safety Department at 313-343-2530.
