NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE - FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 4:00 PM Today (November 27, 2013)
Current predictions call for periods of rain to continue into the evening. Total rainfall accumulations are predicted to be in the 2-3 inch range with locally higher amounts.
Small streams will approach bank full and some may experience minor flooding. Street and urban flooding is also expected.
The rainfall is expected to taper off this evening and temperatures are predicted to be in the high 20's.
Thanksgiving Day (11/28) is expected to be sunny with a high near 33 degrees with a west wind in the 16-20 MPH range.
Emergency Management will continue to monitor the situation and issue additional bulletins as warranted.
