Winter weather advisory is in effect for the Mineral County area thru 0300-1600 hours on Tuesday 
National Weather Service has issued a Winter weather advisory for Mineral County from 0300-1600 hours Tuesday Precipitation will start as a period of snow and sleet late tonight then will likely change to freezing rain Tuesday morning. Accumulation of up to an inch of snow and sleet by Tuesday morning followed by around a tenth of an inch of freezing rain Tuesday afternoon. The combination snow, sleet, and freezing rain will produce slippery condition late tonight through Tuesday afternoon. A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.
