SUMMARY: On Thursday, November 21st 2013, at approximately 3:00 pm deputies from the Apple Valley Police Station responded to Albertson’s supermarket in Apple Valley. Two suspects entered the Albertson’s supermarket and one of the suspects, Jesse Herrera, ran up to a female shopper and stole her purse from her shopping cart. Jesse Herrera and Ryan Escareno ran out of the store where they were detained by a male patron in the parking lot. The third suspect, Andrew Limon, who was driving the getaway vehicle, brandished a knife to the male patron. The suspects, Herrera and Escareno, were able to get into the vehicle, a white Toyota Camry, with Andrew Limon and flee the scene before deputies arrived. Witnesses provided a vehicle description and upon further investigation the vehicle was located at a residence in the 15000 block of Blackfoot Road in Apple Valley. Deputies served a search warrant and located the three suspects as well as evidence at the location. While the deputies were investigating this crime a report of an attempted robbery at the Super Target had come in.
