LASD-Compton Station surprised random members of the Compton community with 17 pound turkeys! The Tom turkeys found homes with the grateful citizens just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. There are plans to bake the turkeys in traditional Thanksgiving fashion and to try out some of the new turkey deep fryers. The deputies made sure to get the addresses where the cooking would be taking place so that they could sample the delicious turkeys!
