LOCATION: 11300 block of Kingston Court, Montclair
SUSPECT(S): Unknown at this time
VICTIM(S): Robert Camacho, 20 years of age a resident of Pomona

SUMMARY:

On Friday, November 15, 2013, at approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s station responded to a report of shots heard and a male subject down in the 11300 block of Kingston Court, in the unincorporated area of Montclair.

Deputies and fire department personnel arrived and located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Robert Camacho, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail responded to conduct the investigation. It has since been determined that the victim and others were at a nearby park, standing near a playground, when a gunman approached and began firing at them. It is unknown if the victim was the intended target. There were children present at the playground when the shots were fired.
