Bike patrol arrests two brothers for possession of marijuana for sales. 
On Wednesday night, November 6, 2013, the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station Bicycle Patrol Team deployed in the community of Spring Valley Lake.
Sergeants Jim Evans and Tim Visosky and Deputies Travis James and David Romero patrolled residential streets, the country club, golf course and the Marina business area. Team members contacted several supportive citizens throughout the operation.
At approximately 7:40pm, the team observed subjects using narcotics inside a vehicle in the 17900 block of Lakeview Drive. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a substantial quantity of Marijuana, money and other paraphernalia consistent with the sales of narcotics.
Brothers, Matthew and Nicolas Roberts, were arrested for possession of Marijuana for sales and booked at the Victor Valley Jail. They are being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail each.
“The use of bicycles allows us to see, hear and detect things we wouldn’t normally be able to from a patrol car. Team members are able to probe both residential and business areas virtually undetected. Most people don’t even realize we are there until we want them to” stated Sergeant Jim Evans.
