We collected 245 pounds of unwanted prescription pills at our two collection sites, Kaiser and the police department. The support from our community and personnel was fantastic! Thank you all!!

State results from the Drug Enforcement Administration:

Northern California had a record breaking 227 collections sites, hosted by 156 law enforcement agencies and a record breaking collection of approximately 19 tons of unwanted, unused, and expired medications. As a bonus, this disposal collection was also converted into energy through our community partner at Covanta Energy, Crows Landing, California. The safe and secure collection and disposal these medications not only saves lives, but protects the environment and ecosystem.

We also teamed up with Kaiser Permanente who hosted 11 RX Drug Take Back collection sites and collected at their facilities.
