The Janesville Police Department conducts sex offender compliance checks on Halloween 
Janesville Police Department officers along with probation agents from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections conducted compliance checks of 43 supervised sex offenders in the City of Janesville. The checks were done during the trick or treat hours of 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. No violations were observed and no arrests were made as all were found to be in compliance.
