The Brigantine Police Department has received several complaint's regarding federal agencies specifically the DEA calling local residents and advising them of possible criminal charges if they do not pay certain fines or fees for certain prescription orders and prescription mail orders . Also these agencies are asking for individuals personal information as well. It is a phone scam and the Brigantine Police Department urges residents to call the police if they receive these types of phone calls.
