Sometime after 12:30 on Sunday a vehicle travelling south over Lempster Mountain ran down about a dozen mailboxes in Lempster and Washington, as well at a DoT directional sign in Washington Village.
The Washington Police and NH State Police are looking for any assistance locating a vehicle with extensive front end damage and possibly embedded wood chips from the posts. There currently is no information involving the type or color of the vehicle.
