Smartphones continue to be targeted by thieves, last week 4 robberies of smartphones occurred in Pacific Division. This year over 70 smartphones have been stolen in Pacific, follow these tips to avoid becoming a victim too.
1. Avoid walking and talking on your phone in public areas
2. When using your phone be aware of who is around you
3. If you must use your phone while walking try to step into an area where there are other people, like a store.
4. Don't store your phone in a place that is visible to thieves like the rear pocket on a tight pair of jeans.
