On October 10th, 2013 Morgan Hill Officers arrested Isaac Luna 23, out of Morgan Hill and Jason Gutierrez 20, out of Gilroy for possession of a loaded firearm, violation of probation, a felon in possession of ammunition and a felony warrant.

Morgan Hill Officers initiated a vehicle stop on the 17000 block of Peak. Ave. The occupants of the vehicle immediately exited and started walking away even though they were ordered to stop. As the two walked away from the Officers, Luna grabbed a bag out of his pocket and discarded it into the bushes. Officers detained both subjects and after searching the bag they realized it was full of ammunition. A search of the surrounding area was conducted and a loaded .38 caliber revolver was located in the parking lot. Luna later admitted flinging the firearm out of the vehicle.
